GAR Medal
Capt. Harry Haskell, Engineer, at the 56th Anniversary of the Albany Burgesses Corps. The Albany Burgesses Corp was, following the Civil War, an independent militia company. The picture was taken on October 8, 1889, at Albany, New York, and inscribed (on the reverse) by Capt. Haskell on April 14, 1892. Capt. Haskell is wearing the collar insignia "ABC", which stands for the Albany Burgesses Corps. On his chest is the badge of the Civil War veteran's group the Grand Army of the Republic.
